Additional Information
Return your rental to 2530 Kekaa Drive in Kaanapali no later than the time listed on your booking.
Storage requirements
Customers are responsible to storing the e bikes from rain and have a secure place to store overnight without e-bikes getting stolen. E bikes cannot be parked or stored outside overnight. Any damages to bikes due to weather conditions or not covering or storing in an unsafe place will be the responsibility of the e bike renter.
For Beginner Riders
If you are a beginner rider please make sure you can properly balance, get on, get off a bike and ride making controlled tight turns under your own power as well as pedal assist. If you are unable to do so, no refunds will be issued. Free Test rides can be offered in advance 24 hours before the ride.
Cancellation policy
Customers will receive a full refund with 48 hours’ notice of cancellation before the activity (rental or tour). Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator (RideSmart Maui) cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances before the activity.
Know before you go
Bike Rescue
If you purchased Bike Rescue, there will be no additional fees if you are within the West Maui boundaries (south of Honolua Bay, north of Olowalu).
If you didn't purchase Bike Rescue, a fee of $60 per bike will be charged for rescue services within the boundaries. You will be asked for your reservation number, or the name associated with your reservation.
Keep your Bike Secure and Safe
A lock and helmet are included with each rental free of charge. It is your responsibility to pick up and return these items.
Store the e-bike in a safe location protected from the rain.
If you get off your bike, be sure to lock the bike and battery to a stationary object.
DO NOT change the lock combination. If you do this by mistake, please inform RideSmart Maui of the new combo.
Follow the Rules of the Road
RIDE TO THE RIGHT OF THE LANE AND IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS TRAFFIC.
Always ride single file, NOT side-by-side when traveling with others.
FOLLOW TRAFFIC LIGHTS, SIGNALS & LANE MARKERS.
Use hand signals when making turns and stopping.
STAY OFF SIDEWALKS, GOLF COURSE PATHS
and any area marked "No Bikes".
USE YOUR LIGHTS AT DUSK AND DARK
to increase visibility and safety.
