Overview
Consider booking multiple days! They have a variety of trails to choose from. Experience a different trail each day.
Dog sledding is the most fun when you are intimately involved in all aspects of the excursion from learning about the sleds and equipment to meeting and harnessing the dogs as well as and rewarding them after their run.
Getting to know each of the dogs increases your enjoyment and your appreciation of their excitement and effort.
They only take out 2 sleds per tour for a maximum of 4 adults. Driving your own team of dogs is the best way to experience the sport. A professional guide will accompany your tour for your safety as well as for the safety of the dogs.
The experience starts with an orientation and driving instruction. Then you can be involved with all aspects of the tour such as setting up the equipment, harnessing and getting to know your team. The whole experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
