Physical requirements
This activity requires all guests to be in good health and without any mobility issues. Since guests must be physically able to climb on and off the boat at the island, this activity is not recommended for guests who have any preexisting injuries, any mobility issues, or who are over 300 lbs.
If you are not physically fit to get off on the island or have kids under 4-years old, you should consider taking our 1-hr or 2-hr Dolphin and Nature Cruises.

Overview
Operated by Island Explorer Dolphin and Nature Tours at 101 Marshland Road. This is our most popular tour taking you through the Broad Creek salt marshes, across the Calibogue Sound, and all the way to the remote "Vanishing Island™" which is exposed for less than an hour each day at low tide. You'll step off the boat and stroll the sand bars and shallow waters looking for sand dollars and shells. You might see horseshoe crabs, whelks, and other sea life that you won't see on the beaches of Hilton Head.
