Once your order is purchased, you will receive a confirmation email. Please bring this receipt/confirmation with you to check-in on the day of your encounter. Participants must be of the required age to participate. Participants under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult, supervising adult counts as a participant and requires purchase.
Add-on Encounter participants under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult, supervising adult counts as a participant and requires purchase. Children age 2 and under do not require the purchase of an Add-on Encounter ticket and will not participate in the encounter experience. The advertised activity time is approximate. Waivers are to be read & signed before check-in! Minors require a consenting guardian to sign on their behalf.
During the peak season, between Memorial Day & Labor Day the park is open daily with tours every hour. Before Memorial Day (April/May) and after Labor Day (Sept/October) tours are less frequent.

Overview
Encounter Tours are a fun hands-on tour that allows you to get up and close to the numerous animal ambassadors that live at Costal Wilds! Kiss a camel, pet a kangaroo, touch a tenrec, and much more!
To start off you will participate in a guided tour to learn about some of the many species in the world. Throughout your tour, guides will allow you to get up close to several animal ambassadors. Following those experiences, you'll enter the Kangaroo Walkabout, where you can feel just how soft a Red Kangaroo is! But there is more! Tours also include small animal encounters (with reptiles and small mammals).
