Open Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hours are from 9am to 6pm. Dolphin Tours are available at 9 AM and 11 AM on open days.
Do I need any Paddleboard experience to go on a Paddleboard NSB tour?
None! You only need to know how to swim! A large percentage of guests have had no prior experience with paddleboarding, thus, at your designated launch site, one of the trained guides will give you a great introduction to paddleboarding and provide you with all of the necessary equipment and give you an informative safety lesson. Regardless of your age or skill level you will find that expeditions are safe and rewarding.
What do I need to bring on my Paddle Board trip?
Recommended items to bring on your tour include: a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a camera if you wish, and make sure to wear proper attire for weather conditions including water shoes. Most importantly…bring a great attitude!
Are there any age requirements for taking a Paddleboard tour with you?
Paddleboard NSB invites the whole family to join in Paddleboard adventures. The minimum age to participate in a Paddleboard and Guided Tour is seven years old. Those concerned with being “too old” can contact to discuss their physical abilities.
Are there any physical limitations?
Anyone in average physical condition may join a Paddleboard NSB trip. The only prerequisite required is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure. The tours are not considered to be strenuous or physically demanding, and they do not require a high level of fitness, however, if you have any physical impairments that require special services, or have concerns about any special needs you or your group may have, please call to discuss them.
How stable are your Paddleboards and Kayaks?
Paddleboard New Smyrna offers boards and kayaks ranging from 9-14 feet for you to use, specifically designed for comfort and safety. From very narrow Paddleboards for the more experienced Paddle Boarder to very wide ones for beginners, the Paddleboards and kayaks used are all extremely stable, yet swift and easy to maneuver.
Should I “tip” my Paddleboard tour guide?
Although not required, a guide gratuity at the end of your trip is a nice gesture of appreciation for outstanding service, fun times and smiling children. Guiding is a hospitality industry; comparable to that of a server at a restaurant, except that guides spend more time with you, teach you more, keep you safe and make your trip unforgettable.
