Rental Season: Snowmobiles are available from November 25th to April 1st, weather permitting. Early and late-season riding is dependent on snow depth.
Trail Conditions: The Grand Lake Trailgroomers maintain minimum snow depths for grooming. Trail and meadow signage is provided for safe snowmobiling.
Restricted Areas: Snowmobiles cannot be ridden on Shadow Mountain Reservoir, Grand Lake, Lake Granby, or Colorado State Highways.
County Roads: Snowmobiles may only be used on county roads if they are completely snow-covered.
Machine Cooling: Just because a road has snow on it doesn’t mean the snowmobile will perform properly. All of the snowmobiles we use are liquid cooled machines. They are designed in a way that snow needs to kick up into the track tunnel to keep them at appropriate operating temperatures. Snow covered roads don’t always have loose snow. When a snowmobile overheats without proper cooling, the risk of catastrophic engine failure and melting hi-fax is always possible and the customer is responsible for that.
Minimum Age Requirements:
To Rent Alone: 25 years.
Drivers: Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
Accompanied Drivers (18-24): Must be accompanied by a parent.
Passenger Minimum Age: The recommended minimum age for passengers is 4-5 years. Passengers must sit behind the driver. All passengers must sit behind the driver and have the strength and stamina to hold on for the duration of the ride independently.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations are accepted 24 hrs before activity, no refunds given within 24 hrs due to limited availability.
