Know before you go

Once You Get Here - Parking
During a busy day, the lower parking lot gets pretty busy. Please park in the upper parking lot above and to the right of the outpost. If there is no spaces there, try the spaces that are on the side of Hwy 64.

Checking In
As soon as you arrive and find a place to park please check in at the front desk (in the store). This lets us know you’ve arrived and allows us to confirm the number of people in your group who are going rafting. If you have an outstanding balance to pay this is the time to do it.

Waivers: Your entire group will need to sign liability waivers. To save time you can download an Ocoee Rafting Waiver here, sign it, and bring it with you! Remember anyone under 18 must also have a parent or guardian sign the waiver. If the parent or guardian is not with you please have them sign a waiver ahead of time.

Changing For Your Ocoee Rafting Trip
Once you’ve checked in and signed your waivers it’s time to change into your rafting clothing. Please go to our What to Wear on your Ocoee Rafting Trip page to make sure you have all you need. Don’t forget to bring a dry change of clothes and dry shoes for after your trip.

Your Other Stuff
Once you are changed, we recommend you lock all your belongings in your car. This includes jewelry, wallets, and anything else you don’t want to lose off your person (including wedding rings). Glasses are a special case. If you can switch to contacts or see well enough without them, we recommend that you leave them in your car. If you feel you really need them, they should be secured with eyeglass retainers. Retainers are available in the store if you need to buy some. We also recommend retainers for sunglasses.

Car Keys: Do NOT take your car keys on the river with you. There’s a good chance they will end up in the bottom of the river. You can leave your keys at the check in desk and get them back at the end of your trip.
