Being a 3-mile wide island, bikers can easily take in all Tybee sights within the day. Bike route signs will guide you on less traveled residential roads, looping from the north-end lighthouse down to the south-end public pier. TIMS bikes can also be ridden on the beach for a true island experience.
For the safety of our renters, bikes cannot be ridden to Fort Pulaski or used on the McQueen’s Island Trail. These are both considered off-island and there are not safe roadway conditions to access them.
All gear (bikes, beach & baby) is required to stay on Tybee Island, and multiple-day rentals are only available for overnight guests.
