A Family Tradition Since 1963
April 1, 1963 the doors opened to Bruce’s Candy Kitchen! Bruce & Treva Haskell began their sweet adventure in the confectionery business. With the help of their parents, Jack & Cecile Harp and George & Dorothy, serving as candy makers and clerks, our family tradition began!
In the beginning we made 8 taffy flavors, 12 types of hand dipped chocolates and a few other goodies. Over the years more taffy flavors were added as customers requested them and our chocolate line expanded as the candy makers developed new candies.
