Whether it’s your youngest child’s first time behind the wheel on the Kiddie Carts, or the entire family’s annual race to the finish line on the Gran Prix Track, SpeedWorld® has something for everyone.
At SpeedWorld®, we’re consistently on the forefront of the latest racing technology, we’ve recently added over 140 new go-carts. We’re also bringing you newly renovated facilities, concessions, games, and entertainment.
MIAMI DRIFT INFORMATION
Feel as though you’ve been catapulted into the world of the fast and furious on our new Miami Drift track. This course is made for authentic drift track racing and is equipped with some of the fastest cars in the park. Whether you race along-side friends, family, or even complete strangers we are sure that this tropical themed course will satisfy your need for speed.
CYCLONE CART COASTER INFORMATION
Jolly Roger presents, the Cyclone Cart Coaster! Over 1500 feet long and five stories tall, the Cyclone fuses two of your favorite park attractions: go-carts and roller coasters. 78 pilings, 83,000 stainless steel bolts, and 22,320 square feet of lumber have merged in harmony to yield the five-story track… and the world’s first cart coaster! Hop into one of our 40 new go-carts, which pack twice the horsepower of our regular carts. Race friends and family round and round the dizzying track, experiencing a racing thrill like no other. On your mark, get set, RACE!
FORMULA 1 INFORMATION
On your mark, get set, GO! The Formula 1 track and its cars were renovated in 2014; test the new speeds as you embark on an open-wheel race against the clock. This is one cool track… and all right here in Ocean City, MD at Jolly Roger’s® SpeedWorld®. It’s fun for the entire family, with plenty of high speeds for the dare devils in your group. Grab your friends and hit the Formula 1 track at SpeedWorld® today!
An Extreme Ride Ticket, your valid Driver’s License, and signed waiver are required.
SUPER RACEWAY INFORMATION
Fly solo in a single-seated car or partner up in a double-seated car and hit the track. The Super Raceway boasts super amounts of fun with three bridge overpasses, challenging turns, and of course, a world of speed! Try out the new Eagle cars and feel how smoothly they ride the tracks and take the tricky turns.
GRAND PRIX INFORMATION
You’ll feel like you’re a professional racer revving your engine for the real deal at the Grand Prix! This course offers both single and double-seated cars. It’s the perfect track for family fun, or even for a little fun family competition! It’s a great way to spend an afternoon or evening in Ocean City, MD.

Know before you go
Are there any rides for my small children?
Yes, we have two children’s tracks: Rookie Track and the Kiddie Grand Prix. Please see height restrictions and more information about each ride here.
Can my child ride if they’re only 1/2 inch shorter than the posted requirements?
No. All age and height requirements are for the safety of our Guests. A driver who does not meet the requirements may not be able to properly operate the accelerator and brake pedals or be able to adequately see where they are going.
How long does a ride last?
All rides run on a timed system and last anywhere between three and five minutes.
Do I have to wear the seatbelts?
Yes, for your safety State Rides Regulations and our insurance requires all riders to be properly secured by seatbelts at all times while they are in the cars.
Are the cars and tracks safe?
Yes. SpeedWorld® prides itself on having the safest and best-maintained facilities and cars found anywhere. All of the tracks undergo constant maintenance and daily inspection to ensure their safety, and each of our over 400 cars are rebuilt every year as well as given a pre-opening safety check every day. In addition, the Maryland State Department of Licensing and Regulation Amusement Ride Safety Inspection Division inspects each car and track before being opened for the season and several times during the season.
Can I smoke in SpeedWorld®?
Yes, but smoking, including vaping, is only permitted in designated areas.
Do you serve alcoholic beverages?
The park does not sell alcoholic beverages, and they are not permitted on the grounds or parking lot.
Do you allow weapons in the park?
No, weapons are not permitted anywhere on the property.
