Sneaky Pete, a pirate turned traitor, has stolen the key to the sunken treasure. To get it back, the crew needs help—specifically, the help of your kids. They will sing fledgling pirates songs, read maps, and fire water cannons to recover the key and the treasure!

Overview

The entire experience with the crew of the Black Ghost lasts about an hour and a half. The first fifteen minutes is spent at the dock getting the little pirates ready and teaching them how to talk like a real pirate crew. Once the crew is ready we board the ship and head out of the Ripley Light Marina for about an hour and 15 minutes of pirate fun! We will battle with Sneaky Pete who steals our treasure. We shoot him with water cannons and try to get our treasure back! It’s sure to be a trip to remember!

PIRATE ADVENTURE CRUISE
Your 1½ hour Pirate Adventure Cruise is filled with all things fun! The first 15 minutes are spent on the dock getting the little pirates ready with original pirate names and pirate gear at additional cost, as well as teaching them how to talk like a real pirate crew. Once the crew is ready, we board the ship and head out on the Historic Ashley River for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Our pirate adventure cruise is a thrill seeking, high seas voyage into the Historic Ashley River.
Before setting sail on the Black Ghost every child will be transformed into an official member of the Black Ghost Crew.
The activity is non-stop with songs to sing, treasure to find and maps to read.
There is no time for lolligagin! Our fallen pirate, Sneaky Pete, steals the key to our sunken treasure!!! Arrrgh!!! We have to defeat him with our water cannons to get it back!! The good news though is that we always win!

Do I have to worry about getting seasick?
The waters we cruise are usually very calm, sea sickness is normally not an issue.

Do parents need to ride onboard?
Yes. A minimum of one (1) responsible adult is required to accompany your children, however, we recommend as many as want to enjoy in their children or grandchildren’s experience!

Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes, we have a bathroom, but ask that it is only used for emergencies.

Know before you go

How do I dress?
We suggest you prepare for the weather; if the sun is out load up on sunblock and bring some water. If it’s cloudy consider a light rain jacket, we will still sail in a light drizzle, we’re pirates after all. It is possible that a little light spray from the cannons blows in from the wind, but usually we stay dry.
