ROYAL LAHAINA LUAU

The Royal Lahaina Luau – Myths of Maui – invites you to a special evening of celebrating Hawaiian and Polynesian culture. Located at the Royal Lahaina Resort, right on beautiful Kaanapali Beach, this top Maui luau features a delicious all-you-care-to-eat buffet dinner, a full open bar and fabulous live entertainment.

Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed with a Hawaiian shell lei, after which you can enjoy a tropical drink while the sun sets over the ocean. It will then soon be time for the traditional imu ceremony, which is a central part of all Hawaiian luaus. Witness how the kalua pua'a (roast pig) is unearthed from the underground oven.

Later, enjoy a big luau feast which is truly a meal fit for royalty! Choose from a wide variety of delicacies, such as kalua pork, island fish, teriyaki chicken and other island favorites. For vegetarian guests, a tofu veggie stir fry is available as well with advance notice. This is also the only luau on the island with a kid friendly menu, so no one will leave hungry.

After dinner, sit back, relax and enjoy a dynamic Polynesian show featuring Hawaiian, Samoan, Tahitian and Maori music and dances. The grand finale is an awe-inspiring Samoan fire-knife dance that features several fire-knife dancers and even flaming poi balls!

General Luau: Aloha shell lei greeting, dinner, open bar & luau show. Tables are pre-assigned by date of booking. Tables are ohana (family) style and can seat more than one family per table (up to 12 guests per table).

VIP Upgrade: Reserved seating area, flower lei for ladies and kukui nut lei for gentlemen, first set of tables to begin dinner service, complimentary premium drinks. Tables are first four rows closest to the stage and forward facing.
