Overview
Our Kualoa Grown Tour takes you through lush tropical farmlands to learn the vibrant heritage of Hawaiian farming and aquaculture methods, as well as current efforts toward sustainability and local food production.
Discover how Hollywood has played a part in efforts to preserve and maintain these important ecosystems and check out memorable photo ops of the stunning Kualoa mountain range. Crack open a cacao pod at the fields where our tree-to-bar chocolate is cultivated and learn about iconic Polynesian food staples like kalo (taro).
You’ll also experience the tranquil beauty of Mōli’i fishpond, one of Oahu’s most well-preserved ancient Hawaiian fishponds. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior, this truly impressive feat of Hawaiian aquaculture features 4000 feet of original stonewall infrastructure built more than 800-1000 years ago!
