Located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Gulf Shores Golf Club offers a premier golfing experience on its 18-hole championship course. Originally established in the 1960s as the first golf course in Gulf Shores, it underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2005 by the renowned father-son design team of Jay and Carter Morrish. The course features sharp doglegs, strategically placed bunkers, and occasional water hazards, providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers. The traditional plantation-style clubhouse includes a dining room and a well-stocked Pro Shop, offering guests a spectacular view of the surrounding fairways. Practice facilities include a driving range, practice putting green, and a chipping green with surrounding sand bunkers.
We have set aeration dates for August 18 and 19th. On the 18th golfers will play the un-aerated back 9 twice at regular rate.
Attire: Typical golf attire is required, including collared shirts or mock turtlenecks for men. No cut-offs, muscle shirts, tee shirts, halter tops, swim shorts, blue jean shorts, or steel spikes are permitted. Each golfer is required to have their own set of clubs; rental clubs are available for those without clubs.
Footwear: Soft spikes only; metal spikes are not allowed.
Club Rentals: Available; please inquire upon arrival.
Practice Facilities: Driving range closes at 4:00 pm every Sunday and Wednesday for maintenance.
