A more intimate Dolphin experience, just a small group, our dolphin Boat Tours are 2 hours in length and offer you the opportunity to swim with dolphins, explore Shell Island and snorkel for sand dollars. Get your own private tour. Our captains are experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to finding the best spots to see Dolphins.

This is the trip you want if you are looking for an up-close and personal encounter with the dolphins, not just a sightseeing tour; it is a much more intimate encounter. It usually just ends up being your group on the boat, so we can cater the tour to do whatever you want to do. We don’t have a set route we mandate; you can choose the activities and how you spend your time on the tour.

Our captains will offer plenty of options of how you can spend your time to ensure you get the most enjoyment out of your dolphin tour. Some of those options include snorkeling the grass flats of Shell Island or the jetties. Maybe you would enjoy a walk on the beach where you can find sand dollars, starfish, crabs, fish & birds of all kinds during this amazing eco tour!

Do you guarantee dolphins?

The Gulf Coast is one of the best places in the world to see bottle-nosed dolphins in their natural habitat but of course they are wild animals & there can be NO guarantees. That being said, it is very likely that you will have an up close encounter with these beautiful animals. This is not intended to simply be a sightseeing trip like the BIG cattle boats give. This is a personalized dolphin experience. We only take 6 passengers per boat so that you actually have a chance to swim with dolphins in the wild. These boats are designed for this specific activity. They are equipped with easy to climb swim ladders, and our Captains are very keen to local dolphin behavior & patterns. We can also customize the tour to fit each groups expectations.

What do we need to bring?

We provide the snorkeling gear so don’t worry about that but you will definitely want a record of this trip, so bring a camera! Also bring a towel. We keep a cooler on ice on board so you are also welcome to bring along your favorite beverage.
