Set against the backdrop of St. Andrews Bay and a wildlife sanctuary, the course offers panoramic views of the bay, marshlands, and scenic wetlands. Recognized for its premium conditioning and risk-reward opportunities, the Nicklaus Course has hosted numerous regional and local events, including the USGA U.S. Open Local Qualifier. In 2018, the course underwent a greens renovation, upgrading to TifEagle Bermuda grass to enhance year-round playability.
