Know before you go
Space for observers is not guaranteed. Observers can be added to the reservation and paid for upon arrival.
Absolutely! We have been safely parasailing for over 30 years!
Please note: For safety reasons we do not allow pregnant women to participate in parasailing or the act of observing. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
While Parasailing or observing you may experience turbulent seas. You may get wet. Parasailing is a participant sport that requires the ability to board, maneuver about, and disembark the vessel without the aid of assistance. Anything you bring on board or take with you is at your own risk and is not the responsibility of Bonita JetSki & Parasail.
You always get wet boarding the boat. Normally you only get wet up to your knees or thighs. Although, depending on conditions, sometimes you may have to get much wetter. Remember this is a water sports activity! The “dip” is included and part of every ride. We will gently dip your feet in the water before landing you back on the boat.
What can or should I bring on the parasail boat?
The less you bring on the boat the better. Remember you will be boarding a boat by ladder and sometimes transferring from one boat to another.
Are there sharks?
Well…. It is the ocean and the ocean is where sharks live. But luckily we have never had a shark encounter in the 30 plus years in business!!
Overview
About
You can fly double, or triple while enjoying panoramic views of the Southwest Florida Gulf Coast including Barefoot Beach, Estero Bay, Lover’s Key and Sanibel Island. Our Coast Guard licensed captains and highly trained crew will provide you with a safe and memorable parasailing experience that is sure to be the highlight of your vacation. Take off and land gently from the back of the boat and experience the optional water dip before you land. Staying dry is an option but we board the parasail boat directly from the beach so a bathing suit is recommended. The entire experience takes about 1 hour. Each parasail flight lasts about 8-10 or 10-12 minutes depending on the height you choose to fly. If time and space allow we will take observers for an additional $25 per person but keep in mind that those going parasailing will get priority.
