On our Dolphin Nature Tour, we cruise the tropical waters of San Carlos Bay and watch the local Bottlenose Dolphins at play with Sanibel Island as our backdrop. This 1.5 hour cruise is one of our most popular tours.

Dolphins are the main focus on this excursion. As we depart from the Cape Coral canals and make our way along the Caloosahatchee River out into San Carlos Bay toward Sanibel Island, we are bound to spot some of the many dolphins that call these coastal waters home. Kids and adults alike will learn about these curious creatures as well as other types of marine wildlife on this eco-tour.

Seeing dolphins move about and enjoy the freedom of nature is fun for all ages! You just never know what they're going to do. Whether they’re swimming or poking their adorable heads out of the water to say hello to their visitors, you will be amazed at their beauty and gracefulness.

Along with watching the star of the show (the dolphins) you may see some of those fun pelicans splashing into the water, a bald eagle, or an osprey. Wildlife flourishes in Cape Coral, there's always so much to see on the water. And, your knowledgeable crew will be ready to answer all your questions about the abundance of nature that’s out there while you’re on this dolphin nature cruise.

Your vessel of adventure will be waiting for you at the dock behind Rumrunners Restaurant, ready to depart Cape Coral for an hour and a half of excitement. Once everyone is onboard, your Captain will navigate the boat into the Caloosahatchee River and into the open waters of the San Carlos Bay. The boat will be navigating in the direction of Sanibel Island. During your voyage, you will come across the channel where we see 80% of our bottlenose dolphins. Dolphins are typically playful and curious, so don’t be surprised if they put on a show for you.

During the tour, your crew will educate adults and children alike on the ways of the bottlenose dolphin and other aquatic mammals you may be lucky enough to encounter while you view nature at its best.
