  • Experienced Guides: Our amazing guides will make sure you have a safe and enjoyable ride. All of our guides have many years of experience, so don’t worry if you are new to horseback riding. They’ll walk you through everything you need to know and help you along the way.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back to our and take you on an amazing zipline or horseback adventure. Your safety will always come first, so as part of our reopening we’ve implemented the following to keep you and our employees safe:

• All tours will operate at reduced capacity to comply with CDC standards
• Tour guides will wear masks. You may wear a face covering, but it is not required
• Hand sanitizer will be readily available before, during and after your tour
• All equipment will be sanitized between every tour
• Social distancing will be observed as much as physically possible during your tour
• Easy online tickets and reservations reduce the need for contact and lines at check-in

Know before you go

Requirements

Ages 3-5 may ride with an adult. Ages 6+ may ride on their own. Families with children 12 and under, please book your tour starting on the hour. Riders under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult on tour.

Must weigh under 270 lbs.
(During wet conditions, the weight limit for single riders is lowered to 225 lbs. No double riders in wet conditions.)

Wear snug-fitting shoes with a fully-enclosed toe and heel, like an athletic, boot or hiking shoe.

Please make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing. Skirts are not permitted unless you are wearing shorts or pants under it, and you should not wear any type of jewelry that dangles.

Anything that’s loose, like scarves, should be removed. If you have long hair, it should be tied back, and you should take everything out of your pockets, including cell phones, so that they do not end up hopelessly lost in the Smokies.

Our horses’ fun personalities and our amazing guides will keep you smiling throughout the whole tour! This is a great experience for your whole family to enjoy together.

Five Oaks is located in the beautiful foothills of the Smoky Mountains. The trails will take you through scenic forest coves and hilltops that provide a fantastic view of the mountains. Five Oaks Riding guides are some of the most knowledgeable and skilled riders around.
