Safety
At Legacy Mountain Ziplines, safety is our top priority. We do detailed inspections routinely on our lines and our equipment is checked daily by our professionally-trained experts. Our employees are carefully chosen and trained at the highest level, understanding every aspect of proper zipline safety. You are attached to two separate lines, making this one of the safest adventures around.

Are ziplines safe?
Any adventure attraction, including things like rock climbing and white water rafting, carry risks with them. Our course was designed to be as safe as possible. We use only the highest quality of equipment available, and everything is checked daily by our experts, who are also professionally trained. We do everything that we can to make sure that you will be as safe as possible during your adventure.

Should I tip my guide?
It is common industry practice to give a tip to your zipline guide. If they have provided you with the experience that you were hoping for, it is normal for a guide to receive a 10-15% tip per person.

You must sign a waiver prior to participating – either sign it electronically once the reservation is completed or arrive early to complete it.

Should I wear anything special?
When you’re planning on going on a zipline adventure, the first thing that you need to do is to make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing. Skirts are not permitted unless you are wearing shorts or pants under it, and you should not wear any type of jewelry that dangles. Close-toed shoes are required and anything that’s loose, like scarves, should be removed. If you have long hair, it should be tied back, and you should take everything out of your pockets, including cell phones, so that they do not end up hopelessly lost in the Smokies.

F&Qs:
I want to go on a zipline tour but I’m afraid of heights. Should I do it?
Many people have a fear of heights, but they’re still able to enjoy going on a zipline adventure! You have to remember that you will be clipped (doubly) to a steel cable that is over a half inch thick. Our guides are trained to be with you throughout your entire tour and to provide any amount of support that you need. You will have 2 guides with you on each line, also, when you are not riding the zipline and on the towers you are attached by a safety line at all times.

How many people can go together?
We can accommodate up to twelve people per tour. If your group consists of less than 12 people, you will likely be paired up with another small group.
