Overview
Welcome to Ober Mountain Adventure Park and Ski Area, a scenic and exciting four-season destination in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Experience the incredible Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway, a multi-passenger counterbalanced car that takes you directly from downtown Gatlinburg to the amusement park and ski area, offering breathtaking views of Gatlinburg during the two-mile ride. Soar 2.1 miles from downtown and rise 1472 feet in elevation to reach a high point of 2813 feet above sea level, making it the highest cable lift in Gatlinburg and the entire state of TN, except for Ober's own Scenic Chairlift that continues to ascend to the peak of Mt. Harrison above the mountaintop park. The Aerial Tramway has two 120-passenger counter-balanced cars, providing an amazing aerial experience for all ages. The tramway has been in operation since 1973, having carried millions of people to Ober Mountain.
