ADA: There is an elevator that goes up to the top. Only service animals are allowed in the elevator.
Dining: There is a Skylounge Deli that is open for snacks and beverages.
Hiking: Spring through fall seasons: 6pm (Eastern Daylight Time) or winter season: 5pm (Eastern Standard Time) are the latest times you can head out on the trail.
Did the Park experience any damage?
The most significant damage was the washout of our Park bridge during the flood. Additionally, the Park faced small landslides that blocked the Park road, damage to railings and retaining walls, fallen trees, and flooding in the elevator.

Overview
Reservations are scheduled in 1-hour arrival windows. You may arrive anytime during your selected hour. Once you’ve arrived, stay and enjoy the Park until gates close at 7 PM!

Great Woodland Adventure trail - Designed for kids and kids-at-heart, the Great Woodland Adventure features interactive Discovery Stations with locally-made sculptures that entertain and educate guests on some of the animals that call Chimney Rock home.
Animal Discovery Den - Animal educators welcome kids and kids-at-heart to the Park’s Discovery Den that houses lots of Park animals, like reptiles and amphibians.
