Know before you go
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Check-in at the WildSide Basecamp no later than 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time. This gives you ample time to check in, gear up, and receive a safety briefing from our expert guides. From here, you will be guided on the next steps for your tour.

Safety is our top priority, and part of that is ensuring all participants understand the risks and responsibilities.
ZIPLINER REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 10 years old to zip. A legal guardian must be present for anyone under the age of 18. Ages 10-15 must have an adult, but participate independently.
Zipliners must be a minimum of 48” tall to a maximum 82” tall (4’-6’8”).
Zipliners must be between 50-280 pounds.
Zipliners must wear closed toe shoes. Leave those flip-flops at home!
Clothing: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire. Remember, you’ll be zipping through the Smokies, so dress in layers if needed.
UTV REQUIREMENTS
Drivers must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license.
Passengers must be a minimum of 36” tall.
Must wear closed toe shoes.
Dress appropriately for the weather.
Depending on weather, the trails may be dusty, so we recommend bringing a bandana or mask. They are also available for sale in the retail store.
Eye protection is required and will be provided if you don’t bring your own. Sunglasses and prescription glasses are acceptable.
THIS IS IMPORTANT - DON’T FORGET YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE!
Lockers are available at WildSide to keep all your personal belongings safe and secure during your flight.
Mother Nature has her moods, and we respect them. MegaZip operates rain or shine, but in cases of severe weather, like thunderstorms or high winds, we may need to pause or reschedule flights for everyone’s safety. Always check the forecast and dress accordingly.
