Guests are advised to arrive 1 hour early before departure time during busy season. Late check-in may result in forfeited reserved seat. Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.

It’s a boat! It’s a bus! It’s San Diego’s original amphibious Sea and Land Adventure Tour! Don’t miss this exciting, entertaining adventure of a lifetime to see America’s Finest City as you have never seen it before!
Join us on one of our newly refurbished, USCG Inspected and Certified “Hydra-Terra” vehicles for a unique view of America’s Finest City from both sea and land. Your 100-minute fully narrated tour departs at 1004 N. Harbor Drive located at the Embarcadero along San Diego Bay. As you travel along by land, you will learn about the history of this 14-mile-long working bay. Along the way, you will see and hear about the USS Midway Museum, Seaport Village, and San Diego International Airport.
Next, you will splash down into the waters of San Diego Bay from Shelter Island. As you cruise through the bay, be on the lookout for California Brown Pelicans, Blue Herons, California Sea Lions and the multiple number of pleasure boats and military ships.
Your SEAL 1st Mate will inform you about San Diego Bay’s marine wildlife, it’s rich naval history, and the important role the military plays in the city. You will see Point Loma, Naval Station North Island, Point Loma Submarine Base, and the Navy’s marine mammal training center.
Your return trip takes you back via land, passing by the US Coast Guard station, the Maritime Museum, and the Cruise Ship Terminal.
While you may see a seal on the tour, you are more likely to see sea lions. The tour name “SEAL” is an acronym for “SEA and Land” adventure tour.
